The American IndyCar Championship has announced its calendar for 2025. The upcoming season kicks off in early March and once again features seventeen races. The iconic Indy 500, also known as ‘The Greatest Spectacle of Racing’, is set to take place on May 25th next year.
While the current IndyCar season takes a brief pause, the organization has unveiled the calendar for the forthcoming year. 2025 will once again host seventeen races, traditionally starting at the street circuit of St. Petersburg. Following the season opener, a race at The Thermal Club’s private circuit in California will count towards the championship for the first time.
The renowned Indy 500 is scheduled for May 25th. Another notable event is the quadruple-header in July. IndyCar will first visit Mid-Ohio, followed by races at the oval of Iowa Speedway and the circuits of Toronto and Laguna Seca.
