The Autodromo Nazionale Monza – also known as the Temple of Speed – sets the stage for the next showdown between Max Verstappen and his rivals from McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari. The current weather forecast for the Italian GP suggests that it’s going to be a heated battle, regardless.

The race weekend in Zandvoort was characterized by unpredictable weather; while Formula 1 could occasionally be plagued by strong winds and heavy rain showers, a pleasant sun would shine not much later. In Monza, it’s a different story! According to the latest predictions, Max Verstappen and his colleagues are in for a tropical weekend, with a slight chance of precipitation. Weather Forecast for the Italian Grand Prix

The opening day on Friday promises to be the hottest day of the weekend. The temperature during the first free practice sessions will rise to 34 degrees Celsius. A gentle southwest wind will blow, and it will remain bone dry during the training sessions; the chance of precipitation is 0%. Visitors to the Italian Grand Prix will need to apply sunscreen generously – with as many as 11 hours of sunshine, one can quickly get sunburned in Monza.

Saturday’s Forecast and Qualifying Round

On Saturday, when the qualifying round takes place at 7:00 AM UST, it will remain tropically warm at the Temple of Speed. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees Celsius. The chance of precipitation is significantly higher on Saturday, with current predictions indicating about a 30% chance of rain. There may be some local rainfall in the morning, but conditions like those in Zandvoort are not expected for now.

Sunday’s Forecast and Race Day

On Sunday, the chance of precipitation is as high as 65%, although it is likely to remain dry during the race. The sun will continue to shine in Monza, and the temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius.
