The FIA and Formula 1 have unveiled the F1 calendar for 2025. The forthcoming year will feature 24 race weekends, mirroring the current season’s schedule. The most significant change is the reinstatement of the Australian Grand Prix as the season opener. Melbourne will kick off the racing year on March 16, while Abu Dhabi will mark the season’s conclusion on December 7.
The 2025 F1 calendar does not deviate significantly from the current season. No new races have been added, and the Formula 1 will visit the same locations as this year. However, the order of the races has been shuffled. The season will commence with a race at the Albert Park Circuit during the Australian GP. Since 2020, Bahrain had been the backdrop for the year’s first race. To accommodate the Ramadan period this year, the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have been rescheduled to a later date.
The GP at Zandvoort is slated for the weekend of August 31. In 2025, we will witness three ‘triple-headers’, three weeks where races will be held consecutively. The Las Vegas race – which will be held for the third time in 2025 – is the only competition scheduled for a Saturday. The countries that will host a sprint race have yet to be announced.
