Our journey takes us to China for the fifth race on the calendar. It’s been a while since this circuit has graced the calendar, but come the weekend of April 19th, the wait will be over! The Chinese Grand Prix also marks the first sprint weekend on the calendar. Here, we present the complete schedule for the Chinese GP.
We’re back to racing at the Shanghai International Circuit! This marks the first home race for Guanyu Zhou since the last edition was held in 2019. Max Verstappen has yet to claim victory on this circuit. Can the three-time world champion add this Grand Prix to his list of triumphs?
The Chinese Grand Prix is also the first weekend featuring a sprint race. In the new format, the sessions have been slightly adjusted. The drivers will only have one free practice session before the race kicks off. We conclude Friday with the sprint qualification, which used to be the race qualification. The full schedule (including times) for the race weekend can be found below.
