Kalle Rovanperä, the two-time world rally champion, recently had the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car during a test at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
With a part-time World Rally Championship (WRC) schedule in 2024, Kalle Rovanperä has some spare time, which he uses for new experiences. At 24 years old, the two-time world champion has ventured into Formula 1. Not (yet?) to pursue a career, but simply to test this new world, with the support of his sponsor.
A few days ago, Rovanperä visited the Red Bull Ring, the Austrian circuit that hosts F1 and MotoGP races. As he revealed on his social media, the current 6th in the World Championship was driving a Red Bull single-seater, rather than his usual Toyota Yaris.
