The Formula 2 race in Melbourne was cancelled on Sunday due to severe weather. It has been raining all morning in the Australian city. Earlier, the Formula 3 race was shortened due to the weather conditions and after several incidents on the track.

The Formula 1 race is scheduled for 15:00 local time on Sunday (05:00 UTC). It is expected that the worst of the weather will have passed by then, and the race can start on time. However, it will likely still be lightly raining. Therefore, there is a possibility of a start behind the safety car.
