Christian Horner was also a racer himself. In 1994, he drove for the Formula 3 team Fortec. After three years, he transitioned to Formula 3000, comparable to the current Formula 2, driving for Arden International, a team he founded. After two years of racing, he decided to retire and take full control of the team. After six years and three driver titles in Formula 3000, Christian Horner made the move to Red Bull Racing.

Horner has witnessed Red Bull grow from nothing to the team it is today. Between 2010 and 2013, Horner experienced his best days with Red Bull. He won four driver titles with Sebastian Vettel and clinched the constructor’s title in all those years. Since 2016, he has been the team principal for Max Verstappen. In 2021, thanks to Verstappen, Horner won the driver’s title with Red Bull, but had to concede the constructor’s crown to rival Mercedes and Toto Wolff. In 2022, he clinched both titles with Max Verstappen and his teammate Sergio Pérez, with the driver’s title once again going to Verstappen.

Christian Horner has been married to Geri Halliwell, also known as Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls, since 2015. The couple has a son named Monty, who also appears in the Netflix series Drive to Survive.
