Adrian Newey’s Anticipated Move to Ferrari
Adrian Newey, the renowned British design guru, is reportedly making the long-anticipated move to Ferrari. After bidding farewell to Red Bull next year, his future plans have remained uncertain until now. However, a collaboration with Ferrari seems to be on the horizon. A deal with the Italians appears to be sealed, with Newey set to work in Maranello for a sum exceeding 100 million dollars.
Newey’s Three-Year Contract with Ferrari
According to well-informed sources, Adrian Newey has secured a three-year contract with Ferrari. The 65-year-old designer is expected to earn 105 million dollars (almost 100 million euros) over three years and will start working with the Scuderia from 2025. This marks the realization of a long-awaited dream for Newey, as he has long been drawn to a collaboration with the esteemed engineering team at Ferrari.
An official announcement is yet to be made. According to Business F1, Newey remains ‘calm’ for the time being and ‘postpones the announcement’. A transfer to Ferrari would mean that he has turned down offers from Aston Martin and Mercedes. Lawrence Stroll would have loved to have brought him to Silverstone, and Mercedes had previously made him a dream offer (including shares).
Adrian Newey has been flirting with a move to Ferrari for some time.
