Christian Horner, the team boss of Red Bull, has expressed relief following the dismissal of allegations of sexual misconduct towards a female colleague. The accusations were dismissed after an internal appeal process by Red Bull. Horner shared this news in Zandvoort, in the lead-up to the Dutch GP.

Red Bull confirmed earlier this month that the appeal, which was lodged in March immediately after an initial internal investigation cleared Horner, had been dismissed. The team boss of Max Verstappen has consistently denied the allegations since they surfaced in February around the GP of Bahrain. Red Bull had previously suspended the woman who filed the complaint.

In Zandvoort, Horner publicly commented on the outcome of the case for the first time. “It was clearly a very thorough process and of course I was relieved when the appeal was concluded and the claim was dismissed. So now it’s, as it has been all season: focus on the track, here at Max’s home race and looking forward to these last ten races of the season,” said Horner.
