Max Verstappen, after securing his fourth consecutive world title, is more confident than ever. Despite the disappearance of the sporting dominance of previous years, the Red Bull driver looks forward to the new Formula 1 season with full confidence. “I don’t feel like I have any weaknesses. And of course, I would never admit it,” Max Verstappen shares in an interview on Formula1.com.

Verstappen tempers his own words by adding that there is always room for improvement. “I know I can always get better, but I also know it will be very difficult. There are drivers who can deliver incredible performances in a single weekend, but it’s about consistently delivering good performances throughout the year. As a driver, you need to be at the top of your game every time. You have to figure out what works for you, as every driver has their own approach.”

Reflecting on the past season, he says, “There have been tough races, questionable actions and moments, but I always know what I’m doing. I have complete control over what I do. I will always do everything I can to win. I hate losing. I can acknowledge when someone does better, but it’s still not fun to lose. Always wanting to be better, that’s what drives us. Even when we were so successful in 2023, we wanted more and better.”
