Ferrari’s team principal, Frédéric Vasseur, reveals that the team will bring its final upgrades of the season to the United States Grand Prix. Despite the Italian team’s chance to overtake Red Bull in the constructors’ championship, Vasseur explains that Scuderia’s focus is now on the 2025 car.
Ferrari is currently only 34 points behind Red Bull in the constructors’ championship. Whether Scuderia can overtake the Austrian team in the remaining six races of the season remains uncertain. Vasseur discloses that his team will bring the season’s last upgrades to Austin.
“We all know that we have already started developing the next car and we are doing our best to bring small upgrades to the next race in Austin,” Vasseur tells Motorsport.com. “I think it will probably be the last one for everyone. This applies to us and the other teams.”
Every Little Bit Helps
Although the upgrade package that Ferrari is bringing to America is not large, every little bit could help Scuderia in their battle with Red Bull. “The field is now so tight that in the last four or five, six races, every bit can make a difference,” concludes Vasseur.
