French racer Isack Hadjar had his first experience with his 2025 single-seater car on the Imola circuit this Thursday, alternating with his teammate at Racing Bulls, Yuki Tsunoda.

On Tuesday evening in London, the Racing Bulls team stood out on the O2 stage by presenting a livery radically different from the one used in 2024, unlike other teams. This Thursday, the predominantly white VCARB02 took to the track on the Imola circuit, with both drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar taking turns at the wheel for this debugging session in preparation for the winter tests that will take place next week, from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 February, on the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, along with the other nine teams on the grid.

Pierre Gasly, who drove for the Faenza team (formerly Toro Rosso and Alpha Tauri) between 2017 and 2022, is delighted to see his compatriot start in F1 alongside his friend and Milanese neighbor Tsunoda. “Isack is great, I know him well, I’ve seen him evolve, I’m quite close to him and his family,” the Norman confessed during the presentation of the Alpine livery in a London neighborhood. “We work with the same people and we shared a few dinners at the end of last season. I think he has a lot of talent, he is very fast, he knows the things he still needs to work on. It will be interesting to follow his debut in F1 and his evolution.

The first Grand Prix of Hadjar’s career, who has already participated in four official test sessions with AlphaTauri and Red Bull, is scheduled for Melbourne on March 16.
