A remarkable sight in the Dutch polder! The new superyacht of Aston Martin team owner Lawrence Stroll and father of Lance Stroll sailed from the shipyard in Aalsmeer to the port of Rotterdam on Wednesday. The eighty-meter-long ship attracted a lot of attention along the Dutch waters. Admittedly, where such toys in luxury resorts like Monaco are not particularly noticeable, it is a striking appearance here.
The luxury yacht is named Faith and was manufactured at the Feadship yard in Aalsmeer. With a length of 79.95 meters, the ship is of considerable size! The renowned maritime platform Schuttevaer reports that Canadian Lawrence Stroll, billionaire and team owner of Aston Martin, is the lucky owner of this brand new superyacht. He is not the first to choose a Dutch-made sloop. In the past, director Steven Spielberg, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, and fashion magnate Bernard Arnault have all purchased yachts from Dutch shipyards.
Insiders say Lawrence Stroll was present himself to oversee the transport of his superyacht. From the port of Rotterdam, his newest toy would make a trial run towards Monaco for the Grand Prix. After that, it will return to the Netherlands so that the final touches can be made to the interior. Experts speculate that Stroll paid about 200 million dollars for Faith. The annual costs to maintain such a yacht are around 15 million.
