The Qatar GP is just around the corner! Last year’s sprint weekend in Doha brought Max Verstappen his third world title. However, this year he has already been crowned champion in Las Vegas. Nevertheless, it promises to be an exciting battle, especially now that three teams are still vying for the constructors’ title. Here’s a sneak peek at the weather forecast for the Qatar GP!

Last year’s Qatari Grand Prix was a veritable battlefield. Due to the scorching heat, the temperature in the cockpit rose to as much as 50 degrees Celsius, a drained George Russell revealed after the race. Fellow driver Esteban Ocon emptied his stomach into his helmet during the race, while rookie Logan Sargeant didn’t make it to the end. The American had to retire in lap 41 because he was completely dehydrated. Due to the extreme conditions in Qatar, Formula 1 has started experimenting with air conditioning in the cars.

Anticipation Builds for the Lusail International Circuit Race

This year promises to be much more pleasant at and around the Lusail International Circuit. This is good news for McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull, all of whom are vying for the constructors’ title. McLaren currently leads the standings, but Carlos Sainz Jr. has closed the gap to just twenty-four points. Red Bull is in third place, trailing by fifty-three points.
