Red Bull can expect to charge their electronic devices anywhere and anytime in the upcoming season. The Austrian team has entered into a partnership with mophie, a company specializing in the production of chargers and power banks. The American company will become an ‘Official Team Supplier’, and will collaborate with the racing stable on a special product line.
The exact duration of the partnership between Red Bull and mophie has not been disclosed. However, it is said to be a multi-year contract between the two companies. In addition to supplying chargers to the racing stable, the power bank company will also launch a line of special limited-edition Red Bull products.
‘Charged for Victory’
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is certainly enthusiastic about the partnership with mophie. “The Formula 1 season is an intensive journey around the world, and having the right equipment makes a big difference,” the team boss said in a press release. The Brit is therefore pleased to have the American company on board. “This partnership goes beyond just products. It’s about keeping us charged for victory.”
Ross McIness, director of mophie, is also looking forward to the ‘crucial’ partnership with the ‘dynamic’ Austrian racing stable. “The limited-edition series of portable energy products, inspired by various destinations, is an exciting initiative that reflects our shared passion for innovation and performance.”
