This bronze statue, a tribute to Ayrton Senna, stands at the Imola circuit. Thousands of visitors pass by here each year during the Emilia-Romagna GP, paying their respects to the Brazilian hero in their own way. Some do this by laying down and/or hanging up photos, shirts, and flowers. Various items have been there for years, perhaps even thirty years.
The Ayrton Senna Institute: A Legacy of Education
The Ayrton Senna Institute was founded by Viviane Senna, the sister of the three-time world champion. The organization was a dream of the Brazilian to provide support in education to underdeveloped areas in Brazil. For thirty years, this non-profit organization has been assisting various regions in Brazil. Viviane was once visited by Prince Harry (at the time) at the organization in São Paulo.
SENNA: The Series in 2024
Highlighting his legacy this time is not a photo but a video. Even thirty years later, the memory and influence of Ayrton Senna are very much alive. This year, a series about the Brazilian F1 driver will be released on Netflix. The series will explore his life before the tragic accident.
