It’s no secret that Formula 1 drivers are well-off. Therefore, the salaries below are displayed in millions of dollars. Four-time world champion Max Verstappen leads the pack. With Red Bull, he hopes to defend his title again in 2025. The Austrian racing team pays him well for his services – reportedly, the Dutchman will be able to add a whopping 65 million dollars to his account in 2025. This amount is exclusive of income from sponsorship contracts and other business activities.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton follows in second place. The British star is making his debut with Ferrari this year. He bid farewell to ‘his’ Mercedes, and the Scuderia wants to reward him generously for it. He is estimated to earn about 60 million dollars in 2025. With a salary of 34 million dollars, he is the third highest earner in Formula 1. Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris round out the top five with annual salaries of 20 million dollars.
