The Williams team has already announced its plans for Valentine’s Day. The British racing stable will unveil the 2025 car on February 14, making it the first team so far to present their next car, the FW47, to the world. Notably, Williams is not waiting until the much-discussed F1 75 event to do this.

Williams will unveil the FW47 at the Silverstone circuit, and fans can watch live via the team’s website. The car will appear on February 14 in a special one-off livery. However, Williams is saving the definitive livery for the next season for the F1 75 event. This event will take place four days later at the O2 arena in London. During this evening, in honor of the 75th anniversary of motorsport, all teams will showcase their 2025 cars.

“There is a great deal to look forward to for Williams in 2025,” says team boss James Vowles in the press release. “We have fantastic racing drivers in Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz Jr, top engineers from across the racing industry, and new facilities that are becoming operational at our headquarters in Grove.””Vowles views the 2025 car as the next step in Williams’ ‘comeback plan’. “Everyone on the team is doing everything they can to get this team back where it belongs as we head towards the major rule changes for 2026. It’s going to be an exciting year.”

New Car for Sainz

Carlos Sainz will officially make his debut for the British team in Australia in March. The newly minted Williams driver wants to get the team back to the top of the grid as quickly as possible. “I was very impressed with the team in Abu Dhabi. After a long year, it was great to see how motivated everyone was during such an important test,” said the Madrid native. “We’re not far from the launch of the car at Silverstone. I can’t wait to see my new car!”
